“A demonstration of what can be accomplished visually through CSS-based design” is Css zen garden's motto, a site that was created with the purpose of demonstrating the power that lies beneath CSS and hopefully making designers notice.
The challenge is that the XHTML file can not be modified and one has to achieve an innovative and efficient design by creating an external CSS stylesheet.
This is my submission to Css zen garden called “Playful” and makes use of advanced CSS styling techniques.
Hand coded personal blog regarding design and geek subjects, with some touches of free expression.
It was also a place in which I could experiment with CSS and report my first descoveries.
Redesign of RBMS, a page dedicated to restoration and collection of unusual books.
RBMS was looking for a literal approach of what books are in the aesthetic of the page, and as a result images of antique books were implemented for the diagramming of the page.
The client was in need of a website that functioned as a taste catalog for a phone calling client that not always knew the options he/she had, and of course to have presence on the web.
The result was an easy to use website that allows the client to choose effectively, and also know the way to physically get to the business.
Personal experiment, aiming for an oppressive and lethargic aesthetic. The subject chosen was procrastination, to leave for tomorrow what can be done today.
The support group is fictitious, which shouldn't be the case as procrastinating is such a common and sometimes serious problem.
Old online portfolio-like website in which I showed class exercises and personal creations. Even when at that time I didn't know how to properly build using CSS, it's still interesting to see the contents of the website itself.
